DESCRIPTION: As technology progresses, design challenges become more and more demanding. Adding real-world detail to computer generated models can require massive computational power. Parallel computing has the potential to bring that power to every engineer and scientist. This webinar gives a practical introduction to parallel computing for simulation and demonstrates the ease-of-use advances that can make setup and deployment of models to a cluster a straightforward endeavor.




Presenter: David Kan, VP of Sales - Southwest USA, COMSOL, Inc
David Kan received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from UCLA in 1999. In 2001, he set up the Los Angeles branch office of COMSOL, where he currently is the Vice President of Sales for the Southwest USA.

Tom works as a Partner Business Development Manager for Microsoft as part of its HPC team working together with ISV, OEM and SI partners, in the HPC marketplace.
